EuroMed SPI is the First Edition of a new series of conferences in collaboration ESI and SEI devoted to Software Process Improvement in Eastern European and Mediterranean countries.

Through this new conference ESI & SEI aim to develop competitiveness in the software sector in the Eastern European and Mediterranean countries by promoting best practices in software engineering.

This year the EuroMed SPI and the Eastern & Central Europe conference (CEE SPI) will join together in Sofia, Bulgaria, 18-19 October. These two technical days will be complemented by the Sofia IT workshop of the Regional Competitiveness Initiative (RCI).

This way In October 2010, Sofia will become the meeting point for software professionals to discuss topics related to the current challenges software development companies are facing and a variety of possible solutions and opportunities for the future.

ESICenter Bulgaria is the local host of this joint initiative.

From 18th to 20th Sofia will be a forum for companies and organizations of the region to report and share their experiences in improving their software process capabilities, and to raise the awareness about the need for professional, mature processes as a key competitive advantage.
