Welcome to ESI
European Software Institute (ESI) is a non-profit private technological center launched as an initiative of the European Commission, with the support of the Basque Government and leading European companies working in the Information Technology field.
ESI's main activity is based on helping the software industry in their objectives of producing better software of a higher quality, on time, in the best way and at a lower cost. ESI offers consultancy and training services as well as technological support using its highly qualified team of experts and a worldwide alliance network.
ESI also develops a wide range of initiatives directed at promoting the development of the Information Society through the use of ICT for citizens and enterprises, especially SMEs and micro-enterprises.
SEPG LA conference, Medellin, Colombia. Call for Proposals deadline: 15 March
The SEPG LA conference will be hold in Medellin, Colombia 10-12 November 2010
SEPG is the premier, global conference series on software and systems process management. The SEPG Conference Series also sets the benchmark for excellence in the areas of acquisition, development, maintenance, security, and services.
To better reflect the regional and global influences on software and systems process management, the SEPG Conference Series serves regional needs with conference offerings in North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific. Each conference offers core professional development in process improvement through technical sessions focused on technologies like CMMI, People CMM, PSP, TSP, Agile, ISO, and Six Sigma; approaches to implementing high maturity; effective acquisition techniques; service development and delivery; and many other processes for improvement.
The Latin American SEPG is co-sponsored by SEI and ESI and in 2010 will be hosted by Intersoftware, in Medellin, Colombia.

Trust in the Information Society
The National Institute in Communication Technologies (INTECO) is proud to announce the International Conference Trust in the Information Society, that will take place on 10th and 11th of February 2010 in the auditorium of Leon (Spain).
This conference is organised by the European Commission, INTECO and the technological platform eSEC and forms part of the official events of the EU Spanish Presidency that will take place during the first half of 2010.
